The Kylemore Abbey Monastery Campaign

The proposed new monastery will be the first Benedictine monastery built for nuns in Ireland since the Reformation. Essentially it replaces the Monastery of the Irish Dames of Ypres destroyed during World War I. The original foundation was made in 1665 at the request of James II.
